A huge ‘well done’ to Dobcross Youth Band’s training section who had a brilliant day...
Adam Bokaris (Principal Euphonium, The Fairey Band)
I felt very honoured to adjudicate the Dobcross Youth Band Slow Melody competition in 2018. The organisation deserves incredibly high praise for the standard of all the young participants. Congratulations to all members, in particular the various winners!
Being part of the Youth Band has been so good for my children. They've progressed through the beginners and trainers sections into the Youth Band, learnt so much and made really good friends. The opportunities it's given them have been amazing - they've played at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham, performed alongside some really famous bands and had masterclasses from brilliant teachers. All this and it's on our doorstep too!
