We’re absolutely thrilled to introduce our new Associate Musical Director, the very talented James Atkins.Brass teacher, composer and player James has taken charge of our training band and will be developing their individual and ensemble skills at our twice-weekly rehearsals. He certainly has a pedigree to inspire them – he currently plays repiano cornet with the hugely successful The WFEL Fairey Band (we’re looking forward to sharing a stage with them in Uppermill on 4 December), has a first class honours degree in musical arts and has held principal positions in several local bands.James will be working in tandem with Musical Director Seth Livingstone and we are incredibly proud to have two such brilliant but young musicians leading by example – their successful careers really do show where learning a musical instrument can take you! ...
